Returning to Play Plan

Good morning NPALL Family & Friends!!

Today is a good day! 😁😁SO BUCKLE UP, IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG ONE FOLKS! Today, we get to tell you we ARE returning to play the wonderful game of baseball!!

Here is a little bit more information.....We are awaiting approval of our "Return to Play Plan." We do expect to have practices begin by 6/4/20. Please stay in touch with your coach for your practice day. As of now, we are planning two weeks of practice and then games will resume. We will be handing out a new schedule for practice & games.

🛑WHAT WILL CHANGE AT THE FIELD: (this is just a few; there are more)

ENTRANCE / EXIT: We will have ONE entrance and ONE exit. The entrance will be the Splash Pad side of the fields and the exit will be the Batting Cage side of the fields.

RESTROOMS: No more than one person in the restrooms at a time. A parent assisting a small child is permitted, of course.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), FACE MASKS or FACE COVERINGS: Each player must have with them a face mask in their bat bag. If for some reason, we cannot space the boys out into the bullpen area they will be required to wear a face mask while in the dugout. Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Moms will need to wear a face mask while in contact with the players. NPALL will not supply masks.

NO EQUIPMENT SHARING: The coaches and the players will be forbidden to share ANY equipment, including but not limited to bats, gloves, and catcher's gear.

NO CONCESSION STAND: For now, we will not open our concession stand, please plan accordingly. The water fountains will not available either.

DUGOUTS / BULLPENS: We will be utilizing the dugouts and Bullpens to space out the players.

BLEACHERS: It's unknown if the City of North Port will close the bleachers to spectators or not. Please bring your own chair to be on the safe side. We will require safe distancing between all families.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING COMMON AREAS: The Board is currently gearing up to be able to sanitize large areas with an approved method of spraying those areas and wiping down other areas.

As expected, things WILL be different for coaches, assistant coaches, team moms, parents, and the players. With everyone's help, we can make this a smooth reopening and finish our Spring season.

We will have Board Members onsite making sure everyone is abiding by the rules and regulations of the plan we have submitted to the City of North Port to be able to "Return to Play"

Please be curious to others. If you find someone not following the rules, politely remind them to correct the behavior. Most people aren't paying attention and have a million and one things going on in their head....it simply was a mistake and brought to their attention, they will correct.

Below you will find a copy of our Return to Play Plan. Please read it and become familiar with it. You may print a copy of this document from our website Npall.com, under Important Information and Forms, bottom of the page under "Links."
there you will find it - 2020 Return to Play Plan.

***We ask that you email any questions to [email protected] We will gather all questions and make a FAQ sheet. We are sure most everyone will have the same questions. Its too difficult to try to answer everyone's questions through the comment section and most people don't read them before they ask the same question asked 5 times before with an answer.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND NOW, LETS GET READY TO PLAY SOME BASEBALL!
